This Privacy Policy explains how vibedollar ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website (vibedollar.net) and the vibedollar data Service (the "Service").
1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you register for an API key, we collect your email address and a verification code. We do not require your name, phone number, or payment details to register — payment is processed by our payment processor, which collects billing information on its own behalf.
Usage data. We record how the Service is used: API key, timestamps, the tool called, claim-allowance consumption, and wallet balance changes (USD and CNY wallets are recorded separately). This is used for allowance enforcement, billing, and abuse prevention.
Query data. The queries you submit to the Service (e.g., product descriptions or keywords) are processed to generate responses. Query content is not used to build profiles about you.
Technical logs. Our servers and CDN may automatically log IP addresses and request metadata for security and operational purposes.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
- To enforce claim allowances, billing, and acceptable-use policies;
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- To communicate with you about your account, billing, or Service changes;
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your personal information for advertising.
3. Service Output & Public Data
The Service returns data compiled from publicly available sources (e.g., public forum discussions). The data returned is public information from those sources and is provided for informational purposes. If you believe any returned data includes your personal information and wish to have it excluded, contact us and we will review your request.
Public posts captured at collection time. The discussions surfaced by the Service are captured when they are publicly visible. A post or comment may later be removed or deleted by the platform or its author, while the historical record remains in our data. Even when a post is no longer viewable on the original platform, the author may still be reachable through the platform's own private-messaging features or through publicly listed contact information. We do not collect non-public personal information beyond what is already publicly visible in the source discussion or listed by the author themselves.
4. Cookies & Analytics
Our website is a static site. We may use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
5. Data Retention
Account and usage records are retained while your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward for billing and audit purposes. Verification codes are retained temporarily and cleared when no longer needed.
6. Data Sharing
We share information only with:
- Service providers that help us operate the Service (hosting, CDN, email delivery, payment processing), under appropriate confidentiality obligations;
- Authorities, when required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, or others.
7. Payment Processing
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers (our Merchant of Record). We do not store your full payment card details. Your billing information is subject to the payment provider's own privacy and security practices.
8. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and access controls on servers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated to registered users where reasonably practicable.
12. Contact
